According to Ohio Department of Insurance, insurance agents must complete 20 hours of state-approved continuing education biennially by December 31^st 2008.

Agents with a limited lines license for title insurance must complete 10 hours biennially.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Producers who sell flood insurance are required to take a one-time, 3 hour, training class on flood insurance by December 31, 2008, per FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program.
• Title agents must take courses related to title insurance business.

Exemptions:

1. Newly licensed individuals begins the following 1/1, any courses taken before that time will not be credited for the 1st CE compliance period.
2. Individuals who are retired or no longer active but must maintain their license to receive renewal commissions.
3. Non resident agents if their state has CE requirements and a reciprocal agreement with Ohio.
4. Corporations, Partnerships, and LLC’s who hold licenses.

Upon completion of our online courses you will be able to print your certificates online and we will report your credit hours directly to the state within ten business days.

The Ohio State Dept. of Insurance Charges a $1.00 per credit hour filing fee. This fee will be added to all course pricing.
